The moisturising component is present directly on the lens material, as opposed to just its surface, which means the moisturising is much more effective. The tear-like molecules support the tear film positively and thus ensure healthy and comfortable wear. The integral parts of the high comfort are the soft surface of the lens which eye lids slide on without problems, and the optimized solution in the contact lens blister which imitates tears and makes the contacts feel comfortable from the moment you put them in.

Acuvue Oasys 1-Day contact lenses have a light blue tint for easier manipulation, an inside out indicator and a UV filter which blocks 90% of UVA and almost 99% of UVB radiation. The UV filter in contact lenses increases the protection of the cornea from the dangerous ultraviolet radiation. However, lenses do not cover the entire eye or eye area, so the combination of contact lenses that have UV filter and sunglasses is the ideal protection against harmful UV rays.
