My tips would come loose (not off) when I turned the shaft while removing from the target. I always tighten my tips, and I? €? m not afraid to use Lock Tight (or something similar).

I just use these arrows/bolts for target practice- if they break or get lost, no great lose. Also I did find that I needed to replace my foam targets annual as the would get hot in my shed during the summer and actually make the inside of the target "gooey" and very hard to remove the bolts.
