Each channel is fully rated for an inductive load for remote control of fluorescent outdoor lighting, low voltage garden lighting or metal halide exterior lighting without de-rating.

The RF remote handset provides complete and simple control over an entire lighting scheme with a 1000 metre "line-of-sight" walk-about range. It is simple to use, and its splash-proof, easy clean, brushed aluminium effect keypad lends itself to outdoor life. Any number of handsets can be used together.

16 ''system-codes'' are selectable to avoid interference with neighbouring systems. The handset employs the very latest narrow-band FM radio technology to achieve a best-in-class wireless range while achieving superb rejection to interference. The handset is also a commissioning tool, providing ''lid-on'' programming of other Light Symphony components.

The wireless wall switch provides the convenience of a standard wall switch without the mess of installation. The switch is supplied with a standard white 2 gang switch and 20mm deep white surface-box but can be refitted to alternative switch plates to provide up 4 remote control circuits. The standard white switch plate can be fitted directly to the wall or flush mounted using a regular 25mm back-box.

Space permitting, the internal module can be removed from the supplied switch-plate and re-fitted behind an existing switch or one of choice to match the décor. The internal module provides 1000 metre line-of-site range. Each switch can be programmed to control the whole garden or a selected Area.

The module can learn the programming wirelessly from the remote control (lid-on setup) or can be configured manually using the internal push-button. The Lighting Control Unit provides 2 wirelessly controllable outputs each rated at 1000W and suitable for all load types. It provides flexible control for any lighting circuit or pump and is quickly configurable as a simple switch, group (zone) or scene controller, with 9 memories and a master on/off.

Output 1 can be programmed as a switched or dimmable output. Output 2 is switched only. The dimming mode provides a soft-on, soft-off feature with filament pre-heating, which can greatly increases lamp life.The separately fused outputs are fully protected against over current and over temperature.

Large 10mm? cable terminations, standard (20mm) gland cut-outs and an earth bonded gland-chassis simplify installation.The built-in signal-strength indicator, zero-volt mains switching and power-on surge protection all enhance reliability. Lid-on programming speeds commissioning and reduces the risk of water ingress during installation. The switch unit comprises a 2 gang surface mount white switch & box containing an rf transmitter capable of controlling up to 4 circuits.

The rf module can be rehoused in any surface or recessed 2-4 channel switch plate.
