It features newly developed drivers, including a 120mm paper and coconut-fibre cone for beautifully natural midrange clarity, and a 29mm soft dome tweeter for cleaner high frequencies.

Acoustic Energy have also redesigned the cabinet itself, using 18mm layered RSC MDF with internal damping to reduce resonance and keep your sound controlled. Around the back, the slot port cabinet design has also been refined to help extend bass without muddiness, while also relieving internal pressure. Featuring crossover innovations from the flagship Corinium project, Acoustic Energy's design optimises crossover behaviour across the entire driver-cabinet ensemble, reducing phase distortion and preserving musicality.

The cabinet is also slimmer than before and finished in walnut or a new matte, silk-touch vinyl in black or white. Colour-matched grilles and subtle logos give it a sharp, modern look. Whether you place it on dedicated stands or a large bookshelf, the AE300 MKII fits beautifully into small to medium-sized rooms—ideal when you're short on space but don't want to compromise sound quality.
