The Multi-Sensor Fire Alarm boasts many clever features and also allows the user to convert the alarm to a wireless interconnection with additional Aico products.The alarm self tests its own sensors, battery and internal circuit every 48 seconds and alerts the user if any fault is found by indicating by a combination of yellow LED flashes and/or audible beeps.The alarm includes an integrated insect screen made from fine mesh, along with a unique dust compensation mechanism, that helps reduce the risk of false alarms. However, if the alarm does beep due to false alarms, there is a handy silence function that allows you to silence the alarm from faulty beeps for 12 hours. Along with this, the alarm is 230V mains powered, with the addition of a 10 year+ built in lithium battery in case of any mains faults, ensuring reliability always.
