Combining intuitive MPC control and easy USB connectivity, the MPD218 combines the feel of a classic drum machine with the world of computer-based music production. The new Thick Fat MPC Pads are very sensitive and react immediately to user input. The MPD218 offers six knobs in 3 banks, unlike the single control on the previous MPD18, allowing you to get the best sound and precise control over effects.

MIDI data is transferred to your Mac or PC via the plug-and-play USB interface without the need to install a driver. The MPD218 is powered only by USB and the included cable is all you need. Not only the general functionality has been refined, the MPD series is now also iOS compatible via the Camera Conection Kit (sold separately).
