This lush scene was designed by virtuoso engraver Cesare Giovanelli and precisely applied onto the blade to complement the natural majesty of the Calabrian olive wood handle.

Limited to just 1814 signed pieces, this elegant work of art is numbered sequentially and engraved with its own serial number. Even without engraving, the Amici 1814 blade is a real work of art that requires experience and expertise to create. Production begins with the special rust-resistant WÜSTHOF steel, which is shaped precisely in a forge and hardened for daily use.

The high-carbon blade is then ground and polished by hand for that impressive WÜSTHOF sharpness. The slender half-bolster design makes it remarkably light and perfectly balanced in your hand. The distinctive grain of the Calabrian olive wood means every handle is completely unique.

Olive is a slow-growing tree that is naturally durable, water-repellent, and antimicrobial to ensure long-lasting strength and beauty. Together with the color-coordinated brass rivets, it is the ideal companion for this unique knife.
