Reptiles are heavily dependant on the sun, utilising its power to obtain energy required to live day to day and maintain core cycles in the body like the D3 cycle. The sun provides so many unique wavelengths of light which are responsible for providing many essential things to animals and plants alike. It is a vital element on earth which is the reason for all life itself.

Arcadia are aware of this and have created a plethora of equipment to provide the most sun-like energy to our animals and their entire enclosure. The unit is handmade from all the finest materials available to Arcadia and designed to create a usable flood of energy directly below the unit. It has 2 independent heat sources and a choice of 2 ProT5 fittings or a single ProT5 and JungleDawn LED bar.

This allows the use of day and night time heating sources and the use of many UV bulb types for flexibility as well as the use of the JungleDawn for that boost in natural visible light to simulate a natural day and night cycle. The unit can be fitted with any lamp from the Arcadia heating range and 24w HO-T5 lamps to suit your needs. These include; SolarBaskingFloods, SolarBaskingSpots, Halogen Flood Lamps, Deep Heat Projectors, 80w D3 Basking Lamp and Ceramic Heaters.

You can use D3 6%, D3+ 12% or DragonLamp 14% UV-B to provide correctly for your species. The unit has been made to be adaptable and future proof, this means that the design of the unit had flexibility and compatibility in mind, allowing for so many different units to be used and daisy chained together, the unit can be expanded and swapped to your requirement no matter the time or situation. This was built to be the last fixture you will need, simply changing the light types will allow for required changed down the line if required. The unit also supports linking, that’s right you can daisy chain up to 3 Thermal Zoo Pros from 1 single power source making cable running simple and leaving precious plug space free!
