A rechargeable lithium-ion battery (battery and charger sold separately) powers a centrifugal blower to give you the same fill rates as a gas cartridge system, while pulsing additional air to keep the bag inflated in case of minor punctures. The mechanical trigger on the Voltair 30 Backpack makes for easy, intuitive deployment and can easily be locked in the "off" position when riding the lift or traveling.

In addition to avalanche protection, the Arc'teryx Voltair 30 Backpack is fully-featured with a front pocket for organizing your shovel, probe, tools, and skins. There is also a separate compartment for wet items to keep them separate from the main compartment. Designed with weatherproof Advanced Composite Construction, the Arc'teryx Voltair 30 Backpack is seam taped and highly water resistant.
