Albert Augustine, an instrument maker, found himself pressured by none other than Andres Segovia to manufacture and sell nylon guitar strings. He did so, insuring the rise of a new generation of concert players and lending his own part to the cultivation and completion of the famous Segovia Sound. The Classical Nylon strings are the least tense string in the Augustine range and the Blue Bass strings are Augustine's thickest copper wound bass strings.
