Trying to make those thin strips between your table saw blade and your fence can cause kickback, binding and burning. The AUKTools Thin Rip Jig provides an accurate datum on the offcut side of the blade that allows the user to create same-sized strips repeatedly, all you need to do is move your fence closer to the blade as you cut each time. Setting up the Thin Rip Jig is easy to do.

Just slide the guide into your saw’s mitre/T-slot and lock it between 50mm-75mm in front of the saw blade. You can set the width of cut using setup blocks or set the dimension you want on the laser-engraved scale, lock your fence so your stock is just touching the bearings and make the cut. Repeat as often as needed by moving your fence each time so your stock references the bearing.
