A urinary infection is an inflammation of the urinary tract, mostly caused by bacteria, and primarily intestinal bacteria. This test will screen for the presence of any protein, nitrites or leukocytes in your urine. The presence of these components may indicate a bacterial infection of the bladder.

The test is the same one as done by your GP/Doctor. Simply collect a sample of your urine into a clean uncontaminated container. Immerse the test strip into the container of urine for about 2 seconds.

Wait 60 seconds and read the result by comparing with the colour chart provided. This test will screen for the presence of any blood, nitrites or leukocytes in your urine. The presence of these components may indicate a bacterial infection of the bladder.
