It applies pressure to the tongue, chin groove and lips, and its shallow design ensures comfort against the palette. The fixed cheek design is great for introducing horses to the Weymouth bit, as it will stay securely in place and not move around in the horse's mouth. The Weymouth and the Bradoon should be the same size as a regular bit, while the Bradoon should usually be 1/4" to 1/2" larger, and fits onto the sliphead of the Weymouth bridle.
