It is powered by a reliable Honda GX200 petrol engine, and new for 2020 it features a PowerSafe clutch. Why choose a power scythe over a traditional machine? BCS's power scythes are particularly sought-after as they have the ability to cut dense vegetation of any height - even that taller than you - up to 1 inch in diameter.

Their scythes differ to conventional rotary and flail mowers, as they cut vegetation cleanly which keeps seedheads intact and benefits conservation; traditional methods destroy vegetation. The power scythe also operates much more quietly and economically compare to a traditional strimmer, running for a full day on just one tank of fuel. A host of user-friendly features are built-into the power scythe On one of the handles is a safety lever which when released will stop the machine, whilst the other handle boasts a quick reverse lever which allows the user to change direction quickly.

The handlebars themselves are adjustable to maximise user comfort, and had a built-in anti-vibration system to increase comfort levels. An all gear drive system ensures excellent reliability and durability, unlike similar chains and belts which wear down over time. The driven wheels to aid easy manoeuverability and straightforward operation, even in confined spaces - the scythe does the work for you.
