The lock mechanism features an anti-bounce solenoid which prevents forced, unauthorised entry to the safe. The Safe Black Box 40E has a recommended insurance rating of £1,000 cash or £10,000 valuables.

The safe has installation holes in the back and base for floor or wall mounting and a fixing kit is included.
