This additional protection system has been proven to reduce rotational violence on the brain by absorbing and redirecting oblique impacts to the helmet. With a two-piece ABS shell, an EPP foam fusion, and an EPS foam disc, the Capitan meets the UIAA's requirements for side and back protection, while air vents provide ample breathability when temperatures rise. A low-profile suspension system adjusts the fit, while integrated headlamp clips with an elastic band at the back secure your headlamp so you can face the night.
