In its primary function, the Binoc Breathe serves as a comfortable neck strap for binoculars with corresponding strap loops. Another possible use is as a neck strap for a camera, although typically split rings are required. The attachment loops of the Binoc Strap are too thick to fit through the strap loops of an average camera.

Additionally, the Binoc Breathe can be used to extend a Double or Double Slim for attaching a binocular, a tablet, or a third camera. To do this, the middle section is removed, and the two outer ends are attached to the respective strap. The two outer parts are equipped with buckle closure loops that are hooked into corresponding loops on the shoulder pads of the strap.

These loops otherwise connect the outer parts with the middle section. The neck pad is constructed in multiple layers. On the outer sides, there is a layer of thin plastic fabric, while a thin foam padding with air holes forms the core.

This design makes the neck pad particularly breathable and significantly reduces possible sweating underneath. Despite its multi-layered construction, the neck pad is only 2.5 mm thick, making it hardly noticeable. It is also slightly stretchable, which helps to cushion the weight of the binoculars attached to the strap.

The two outer parts are made of very smooth nylon fabric, resembling the material of a seatbelt.
