This nozzle splits the filament into three separate strands like the other CHT nozzles for increased heat output by increasing surface area. The BiMetal nozzle improves this even further by using the more thermally conductive copper metal for the nozzle body to maximise thermal performance. The hardened vanadium steel tips provide a robust, wear-resistant tip that can print abrasive materials such as carbon and fibreglass composites.

Finally, the nickel coating protects the nozzle from corrosion, erosion and abrasion. You can easily replace the nozzle in your heater with the Bondtech CHT BiMetal nozzle. However, it is important that you heat the heater to at least 250 °C (preferably 280 °C) if you want to replace the CHT BiMetal nozzle again to avoid damage.
