Extracted by cold pressing only, the organic borage seeds are pressed at a temperature less than 35C to preserve the natural properties of the oil. Borage oil organic has a medium comedogenic rating and works well for those with combination or oily skin types. Borage oil is often used in skin treatments for reducing inflammation caused by acne, eczema and psoriasis.

Borage oil can also be used in a hair care recipe as it helps balance and retain moisture and has restoring and repairing properties. Unrefined borage oil is naturally yellow in colour with a neutral scent. Our organic borage oil is 100% pure and produced from the seeds of organic borage plants.

It is undiluted and isn't mixed with any other oil. Certified organic by the Soil Associaion. Borage oil is well known for its high content of the essential fatty acid Gamma Linolenic Acid.
