The HEPA H12 (equivalent to MERV 17) filters are over 99.9% effective at filtering airborne allergens such as pollen (hay fever), dust mites, pet dander, and mould. The washable pre-filter (reticulated foam) prolongs the lifetime of the HEPA filter. HEPA filter maintenance Change after 200 hours of usage or 3 months - whichever comes first Pre-filter maintenance Regularly check the filter – if it is dusty or dirty, wash it with water and allow it to dry thoroughly before inserting it back into the device.
