It features both transmitted and reflected light illumination, making it highly versatile for use in fields such as biology, medicine, microchemistry, geology, semiconductor production, and environmental protection.

The microscope includes a transmitted light halogen illuminator (20 W) with continuous dimming and a high-pressure mercury lamp (100 W) for fluorescence excitation. The trinocular head supports both illumination modes and allows for binocular observation and photography. The eyepiece tubes are inclined at 30° for comfortable viewing.

The fluorescence attachment is equipped with a filter wheel, radiation shield, and an external power supply for the mercury lamp. Fluorescence microscopy is achieved using optional excitation systems (with excitation filter, beam splitter, and emission filter) and specialized fluorescence objectives (e.g., 25x retractable, 40x glycerine retractable, 100x glycerine retractable). Additional features include a fourfold objective nosepiece, lengthwise and cross-movable stage, coaxial focusing knobs with fine drive (200 μm per full turn), adjustable eye relief, diopter adjustment, and a phototube.

Optional accessories include wide-field eyepieces (WF10x, WF16x), dividing eyepieces (WF10x), planachromatic DIN objectives (e.g., 4x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 40x retractable, 100x-oil retractable), Abbe condensers (N.A. 1.25 with iris diaphragm), darkfield condensers (dry and oil), immersion oil, phase contrast sets, Köhler illumination field diaphragms, and filters (blue, green, yellow, ground glass, polarization). Its robust design, high-quality optics, and versatile illumination options make it indispensable for scientific research in professional or educational settings.
