A new power input socket on the side of the Wireless Trigger v2 makes it easy to plug in external battery packs and keep the triggers running for months at a time! The Camtraptions Wireless Triggers v2 are fully compatible with the v1 Triggers, the Wireless PIR Motion Sensor v3 and Camtraptions Camera Trap Flashes. The triggers can wake sleeping flashes when the camera powers up which means your flashes will be ready to fire at the first shot. Compatibility Note that Canon has crippled some entry level DSLR cameras such as the 200Dii/SL3, 2000D/T7, 3000D and 4000D by removing the universal flash sync contact from the hot shoe; these cameras can only be used with Canon speedlite flashes and cannot trigger flashes via our wireless triggers. The Nikon SB-600 flash is not compatible with the Wireless Triggers v2.

External Battery Kits It is also possible plug higher capacity batteries into the triggers using an External Battery Kit or Camtraptions Rechargeable Battery Pack. These external power supplies can enable standby times of up to two months. Please note that the maximum supply voltage to the Wireless Trigger v2 cannot be greater than 3.5 volts.
