He looks off into the distance as if he heard something, on the other side of his hip he holds on to his knife. This is a beautifully detailed sculpture and depicts the way of cowboy life as it should be. This sculpture was cast using the lost wax method and has a brown patina.

He is mounted on a marble base and is signed by artist Jean Patou.
