It features Celestron's premium StarBright XLT coatings and a 2800 mm focal length (f/10). The telescope comes with a 40 mm eyepiece for 70x magnification and a visual back for use with 1.25-inch accessories. A 9x50 finderscope is also included to help accurately find objects in the sky.

The Star diagonal provides a more comfortable viewing position when observing objects that are high in the sky. The telescope is compatible with the CGE mount and features a dovetail rail. The CGX mount is sturdy and more rigid, with quicker dampening time and an increased load capacity of 55 pounds.

It also features improved motors for better slewing and tracking under heavy loads, a heavy-duty belt-drive system, and internal cabling for worry-free remote operation.
