Similar to more expensive mutes, all Champion mutes are machined from spun aluminium to ensure accurate intonation and resistance. The Champion trumpet cup mute has everything you want from a mute, and can also be used with cornets. The cork strips ensure a secure fit, with only very little pressure required.

To ensure the bell of your instrument is protected, Champion has wrapped the end of the mute in felt. If required, the cup can be completely removed for different timbral experimentation.
