The dislodging base firmly supports a player standing on top, but dislodges and separates from the smooth bottom plate upon contact from sliding players. The dislodging base allows umpires to easily make calls as the play progresses by checking the bases position. Once the play ends, the top reconnects to the underplate in seconds.

The bases heavy-duty all-rubber pad withstands the traffic of players running the bases. Official 15 inch x 30 inch double first base size meets league requirements. Complies with Little League rule 7.15.
