Made to the same extreme standards as other Chedeville mouthpieces, the Umbra mouthpiece is guaranteed to leave you impressed. By working closely with the esteemed clarinettist Milan Rericha (the co-founder of RZ Clarinets) the Umbra model was born. He simply wanted a mouthpiece like the popular Elite model, but with a darker tone.

By retaining the inner shape of the Elite but changing the bore and chamber, the Umbra produces a very free blowing feel alongside a dark tone. By reverse engineering a famous Chedeville ''blank'', Chedeville have been able to replicate pre World War II legendary Chedeville rubber. Once combined with the classic Chedeville facing curve, you will realise that the Umbra clarinet mouthpiece produces a tone that is unsurpassed.
