Creating the perfect, great tasting noodles takes real expertise, especially when made without the use of processing aids, like many conventional noodles. These Organic Brown Rice Udon Noodles are made by a third-generation family producer in Japan’s Gunma prefecture, where they have been producing noodles for over 70 years. When making the dough, the amount of water and temperature is adjusted for each batch by an expert to ensure quality and consistency, which cannot be achieved by machines alone.

Once the dough is just right, it is made into noodle strands, which are traditionally and carefully slow tried, giving the noodles the perfect bounce or ‘koshi’. Serve all year round in hot broths, stir-fries or chilled with a dipping sauce.
