The single pump version can be fitted with an optional high-level alarm whereas the twin pump version is supplied with a high-level alarm as standard. Purchasing the twin pump version allows the pump station to continue operating in the event of a single pump failure, allowing time for the failed or blocked pump to be repaired or replaced without having to stop using the facilities.
