A new chocolate experience. The Swiss Water Process is a decaffeination process based on the use of water at the correct temperature and time parameters, without the use of other solvents. Thanks to this process, the coffee does not have the bitter taste characteristic of decaffeinated coffee, and its natural flavor characteristics are preserved.
The process itself was patented in 1979 in Switzerland by the company Coffex – hence its alternative name: Swiss Water Process. It is worth noting that decaffeinated coffee subjected to this solution is 99.9% caffeine-free.
