Concrete surfaces including power floated, granolithic and smooth surfaces should be abraded to create a key.

Either sand the surface or use Coo-var Acid Etch to prepare the surface. New concrete must be allowed to cure for 3 months. Other surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate.

Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased, and sanded to create a key. Remove all loose and flaking material to leave a smooth surface ready for sealing. For best results treat any knots or staining with an appropriate stain blocker.

ApplicationAs dictated by normal good painting practice, in confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. Mix well before application, apply using a brush or roller. This floor paint will be hard dry in 12 hours and achieve full hardness in 5-7 days.
