Our know-how has allowed us to develop a very high quality wound on nylon string that offers a classic sound and does not have the usual nylon sound, a sound which is a bit hard and aggressive. It is subject to special treatments exclusive to Corelli which provide it with the best characteristics.

As a result the strings offer the best sounding qualities, which distinguish these strings and give them an outstanding personality as well a high quality of playing. Regular research and work focused on each quality of the string, regularly lead to improvements without changing the acoustic qualities of the string. Tensions Corelli Crystal strings come in 3 tensions : MEDIUM LIGHT, MEDIUM and HIGH. The MEDIUM gauges is most often used, and on most of the instruments the same tension can be used for the 4 strings If the sounding qualities should not give complete satisfaction, in all cases the use of a LIGHT or HIGH tension can improve the sound in a final positive way. The definition of the tensions enable the use of different tensions from a string to another for the same instrument.

Choice Due to their sounding characteristics, the Corelli Crystal strings can be mixed with steel as well as gut strings or even with Corelli Alliance Vivace strings. This advantage offers additional possibilities of balance of the instrument and sound.
