Glycolic acid is a water-soluble acid that dissolves the cells on the skin's surface, artificially speeding up cell turnover to reveal the fresh new layers underneath. It is effective in treating hyperpigmentation, dullness, and by stimulating collagen production, it helps fight the signs of skin aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles.

Salicylic acid is an oil-soluble acid that penetrates deeply, exfoliating the skin and unclogging pores.
