It has a range of up to 50 meters, over which distance the variation in accuracy will not be greater than +/- 1.5 mm. This measuring device has a flat and square base that gives greater solidity to the measurement without unit movements to avoid measuring with errors. It is designed with oversized buttons to avoid measurements and backlit with 2-line display to provide visibility in all working conditions.

It features indirect height measurement with Pythagoras function, which allows measuring distances even when point A and/or B is not accessible for linear measurement. Adds or subtracts readings and calculates distances in metric and imperial. The user can select an option to take measurements continuously.

The unit stores the last 5 measurements in memory. The Dewalt DW03050 laser meter is built to withstand extreme conditions, drops and bumps on the job site. It is the most durable meter on the market with IP65; it will work after a 2 meter drop onto concrete.
