Colour Variations thread is beautifully variegated to create a soft shaded effect. This superior quality thread is perfect for stitching and embroidering on all types of fabric. The shiny, soft and silky thread comprises of 6 easily separated strands, allowing you to adjust the thickness of your stitching by using a different number of strands.

Manufactured by DMC for over 100 years, it is made from the best quality 100% extra long staple cotton. Fade resistant and colourfast, this thread is double mercerised to give it a brilliant sheen. Available in 36 shades, it's exceptionally smooth and doesn't snag, fray, break or knot whilst in use.

Each skein is 8 metres (8.7 yards) long.
