It's big enough to carry an 80m rope as well as a rack of draws, harness and shoes so it's the ideal rope bag to carry into a sport crag or take to the climbing gym.

The straps are detachable though so you can either use it as a courier bag or take them off to save some space if stuffing into a bigger rucksack. DMM Rope Bag Features The Classic's padded shoulder straps are detachable, and can be arranged for either rucksack, or across the shoulder 'courier' style carrying. Compression straps keep loads in an optimum position within the bag, giving better balance and comfort on approaches.

They can also secure equipment like axes or walking poles without taking up valuable internal bag space. An external zip pockets keeps your valuables safe, secure and separate from the rest of the bags contents. A removable tarpaulin keeps ropes free from dirt and protects them from wear and tear.
