The jaws are drop forged and precision machined to exact specifications, ensuring a resilient body and a sharp, rigid cutting edge. The center-cut design allows for arm adjustment, making it adaptable to various cutting situations. Solid forged handles built for maximum strength.

Force applied is amplified to produce an incredible 80 pounds (36 kg) of force between the jaws. Non-slip, soft grips that allow for comfortable handling and reduced hand fatigue. Built-in stops to yield rather than break, adding safety.

Ideal for cutting high tensile steel rods, trimming concrete reinforcing rods, managing mesh and wire, dealing with cold-drawn alloy steel and working with tempered sprung wire. Maximum cutting capacity of 6.4mm.
