It completely replaces laundry detergents and fabric conditioners, instead cleaning your clothes using two types of natural mineral pellets contained in a BPA free recyclable egg. As the pellets contain no harsh chemicals, they are much kinder to both the planet and your skin. The Laundry Egg is suitable for people with sensitive skin and holds the Allergy Friendly Product Award from Allergy UK.

The Egg is also Vegan friendly and cruelty free. The Laundry Egg itself is made from BPA free recyclable plastic, but is actually designed to help you cut down on your plastic use. After 70 washes, all you need to do is replace the pellets, not the egg, meaning that your Egg will last you years.

In fact, the Laundry Egg comes with a 10 year guarantee! The natural pellets are non-biological and don’t contain any palm oil, SLS, parabens, petrochemicals, enzymes, phosphates or microplastics. They work in combination with the water to draw out dirt from your clothing fibres and soften your clothes by changing the pH, leaving your laundry clean and fresh without using harmful chemical laden detergents. The ecoegg Laundry Egg is so simple to use – just place it inside your washing machine on top of your washing.

After your washing has finished, remove the Egg to allow it to dry. The first time you use it you will need to fill it up with the pellets, and you’ll need to replace the pellets after 70 washes. Use one Laundry Egg with pellets for each normal wash load of 6-8kg.

The Egg is suitable for using up to 60°C. The Laundry Egg is also suitable for hand washing – simply place the egg to soak in water for 5-10 minutes then hand wash as normal. The Egg includes enough pellets for approximately 70 washes.

Subsequent refill packs are available that include enough pellets for approximately 50 washes.
