Eddy is easy for anyone to fit, requires NO plumbing changes, does not require any salt and costs a fraction of the price of a conventional salt-fed water softener. Eddy produces a complex electro-magnetic wave which is applied through two coils placed round your incoming water supply pipe. In this way your water is subjected to an ever changing magnetic field as it passes through the coils.

This alters the adhesion properties of the limescale so that it no longer deposits itself on your clean surfaces, inside pipework and appliances. Eddy does NOT alter the chemical hardness (TDS) of the water so the beneficial effects of the calcium and other particulates is retained - for example, calcium has been shown in medical tests to reduce incidence of heart disease.
