The attachable flash is easily mounted in the adapter with a clamping mechanism. The clamping width is variably adjusted by a hand screw in the range of 27 to 52 mm. This makes it possible to use the SpeedringAdapter together with flashes of different manufacturers and sizes.

A rubber coating on the contact surface ensures that the attachable flash is held securely in the clamp. The SpeedringAdapter can be tilted forwards and backwards by 90 degrees in individual steps. This makes it easy to adjust the light shaper for targeted lighting in studio photography.

The panhead is released with a hand screw with a long lever and can be adjusted in 20 clickstops. The locking steps ensure that the panhead is held securely in the respective position and prevent, for example, a softbox from lowering unintentionally due to its weight. With a 5/8 inch spigot connection, the speedring adapter can be mounted on a lamp tripod together with the mounted attachable flash and light shaper.

With a hand screw the SpeedringAdapter is fixed safely on the lamp tripod. Thanks to a shade holder, the Speedring adapter can also be used together with a reflector shade or a translucent shade instead of a Bowens light shaper. The shade is quickly and easily attached to the shade holder, making it easy to switch between use with a light shaper and a reflector/transmitted light shade.
