The I/O connectivity is transformer balanced using two varying transformers to optimise the performance of the preamp. Featuring a circuit similar to the classic 1073 module; the PRE-73 JR MKII provides punchy, warm character for both mics and instruments. With a single-channel design, the PRE-73 JR MK2 is the perfect addition to any studio, providing a streamlined and easy way to incorporate vintage character into your signal chain.

Utilising only the finest components, the PRE-73 JR only contains six active elements for a clean and refined signal. The gain switch spans between 20 - 70dB, more than enough for any audio source. You can add some sparkle to your sound using the two-position high-frequency AIR boost EQ, providing a rich high-end where needed.

It also features an onboard selectable 5dB/octave, two frequency, high pass filter - perfect for eliminating unwanted low-end noise. There is even an insert jack for connecting EQs and other outboard gear. The genre-defying, classic sound it provides makes it a must-have for any serious studio user.
