The Class 60s were designed to haul heavy freight trains, and when they entered traffic it was thought that during their working lives the 100-strong fleet would haul raw materials totalling the equivalent of 25 times the mass of Britain’s tallest mountain – the Class 60s would literally be Moving Mountains! Recreate a typical Class 60 train with this set featuring Class leader ‘Steadfast’ and six Redland PGA wagons. This SOUND FITTED train set is supplied with a Class 60 Diesel Locomotive which is pre-fitted with a Sound Decoder (manufactured by Zimo), allowing the model to produce realistic sounds when placed on the track and with power applied.
