The access point features advanced QoS to ensure real-time performance of low-latency applications. It also has anti-hacking secure boot and critical data/control lockdown via digital signatures, unique security certificate, and a random default password per device. The device can self-power adapt upon auto-detection of PoE or PoE+.

An embedded controller can manage up to 50 local GWN series APs, while GWN.Cloud offers unlimited AP management, and GWN Manager provides premise-based software controller.
