They are made of 4 mm waterproof neoprene with a hollow fibre lining that offers maximum thermal insulation. The Arctic features the EUROBIKE Award-winning, so-called IntelliSeal technology. An ingenious technology that significantly improves the durability, fit and waterproofness of overshoes.

The Arctic shoe covers feature the new zipperless design that provides a perfect and snug fit around the shoe and calf, keeping water out from above and preventing water from entering through a zip. They are recommended for road shoes and compatible with most types of pedal systems. IntelliSeal technologyThis means that the rubberised binding on the underside of the overshoe acts as an elastic seal, allowing the overshoe to fit snugly to the bottom of the shoe.

The zipperless overshoes are put on before you slip into your shoes. This makes the overshoe fit perfectly and is compatible with many bike shoes. Neoprene clothing In foamed neoprene, many small gas bubbles are evenly distributed, giving it excellent thermal insulation properties.

For sportswear, neoprene is used in different thicknesses according to the desired thermal insulation. Thicker material insulates better but is also less stretchy. As a rule, neoprene is laminated on both sides with textile fabric (made of nylon or Lycra), which makes the surface closed and less susceptible to damage.

In the production of neoprene clothing, the material is glued together in a butt joint.
