All Grivel EVO crampons now feature an upgraded webbing, which is both harder wearing and thinner - 12mm as opposed to the previous 14mm. The webbing fastening mechanism also sees improvement by way of a more ergonomic buckle, which is again, easier to adjust and release. Perhaps the most noteworthy update in this area sees the webbing strap fasten in toward the boot, with the loose end neatly wrapping around the front of the ankle to be tucked into a purpose built slot within the back bail.
