The frame comes with mounting holes to attach to a monopod or tripod, which if combined with a quick release plate, can let you go from tripod to handheld in a matter of seconds. Holding the frame out in front of you can give you a far more stabilised look to your shots, while on top, you can mount attachments (microphones, lights) to create a portable all-in-one rig. The two grips are coated in rubber, giving you a firm grip as you dive about with the camera on the frame and the grip on the camera can be adjusted to give you room for your flip out screen.
