Two Mignon AA batteries serve as energy sources. The transmitter and receiver are equipped with an on/off switch. The Hähnel Captur functions as a radio remote shutter release on the camera with the functions for autofocus, continuous shooting.

The trigger transmits at 2.4GHz - a worldwide license-free frequency. The channel tuning is done digitally, so no dip switches have to be set. In addition, the Captur can be used as a remote trigger for flashes, for unleashed flashes.

The transmitter is placed on the accessory shoe of the camera. The receiver is attached to the socket of the flash unit. The receiver can be attached to a tripod with the flash unit through the tripod thread on the receiver.

The additional receiver available in combination with the set enables the wireless triggering of additional flash units. The number of flashes is not limited.
