This mask has been designed for the heavy horse type - Percheron, Clydesdale, Shire etc and the design is registered to Ruggles so is only available from Ruggles. It is a pull on design so no straps or hardware to come undone or cause rubbing.

Due to the close fit and lack of straps the masks do tend to stay in place very well. Generous mesh at the eye area which provides protection from irritating flies and insects but allows good visibility and has good clearance away from the eyes. Can be used for turnout or due to its close fit it can be used under a bridle or head collar during exercise, ideal for horses which are particularly sensitive.

This close fit also helps prevent bugs and insects crawling under the mask causing irritation. (Also available in Horse/Pony and Shetland/Miniature ranges) The mask is packed in a robust bag which can be used for storing when not in use and the mask is machine washable.
