They are rich in fiber and vitamin C. They can be eaten plain, mixed with other dried fruits or in tasty desserts. They are grown at over 2000 meters above sea level, on small mountainside plantations in Colombia by local FAIRTRADE farmers.
The berries of physalis are harvested by hand when they reach maturity, then the berries are cleaned and dried in the sun. It is a product from organic farming certified by AT-BIO-301. This product does not contain any allergens, however it may contain traces (eggs, soy, sulphur, nuts, etc.).
