A backrest on each Alto/Tenor stand adjusts to best support the instrument. All contact points are wrapped in soft Specially Formulated Foam (SFF) for maximum protection against scratches.

The most impressive feature is the stand's expandability. Three peg holes are built into the stand for additional instruments using a variety of Hercules Stands add-on pegs. Available pegs range from soprano saxophone to piccolo.
